Serdecznie gratulujemy dr Chun (June) Yeung, absolwentce Szkoły Doktorskiej GSSR (Graduate School for Social Research), która realizowała doktorat w Instytucie Psychologii PAN i uzyskała dyplom doktora w 2025 roku. Jej artykuł ukazał się w czasopiśmie Clinical Psychology Review.

Artykuł przedstawia metaanalizę badań dotyczących związku między depresją a trafnością ocen i osądów. Wyniki wskazują na ogólny, słaby, ale istotny efekt zniekształcenia depresyjnego. Jednocześnie efekty zgodne z koncepcją tzw. realizmu depresyjnego zaobserwowano w określonych warunkach - m.in. w zadaniach autoreferencyjnych, złożonych i dotyczących oceny kontroli.
Publikacja ukazała się w wysoko punktowanym czasopiśmie Clinical Psychology Review - Impact Factor 12.2, 200 punktów MNiSW.

We warmly congratulate Dr Chun (June) Yeung, an alumna of the GSSR Doctoral (Graduate School for Social Research) who pursued her PhD at the Institute of Psychology, Polish Academy of Sciences, and received her doctoral diploma in 2025. Her article has been published in Clinical Psychology Review.

The article presents a meta-analysis of studies on the relationship between depression and accuracy of judgment. The findings indicate an overall weak but significant depressive distortion effect. At the same time, effects consistent with the concept of depressive realism were observed under specific conditions - including self-referent, complex tasks concerning judgments of control.
The article was published in the highly ranked journal Clinical Psychology Review - Impact Factor 12.2, 200 MNiSW points.
